Gentle Hand Wash (If Necessary): For occasional cleaning, gently hand wash in cold water using a mild, silk-friendly detergent. Avoid scrubbing or wringing the fabric to prevent damage to its fibres.

Do Not Bleach: Avoid harsh chemicals or bleach, as these can weaken the silk fibres and affect the natural gold colour.

Air Dry in Shade: Lay the fabric flat on a clean, dry towel to air dry. Avoid direct sunlight, as it may cause fading or dulling of the silk’s natural tones.

Cool Iron: Use a low-heat setting and iron on the reverse side to protect the silk’s surface. Place a cotton cloth between the iron and the fabric to maintain its natural sheen.

Store with Care: Store Tussar silk items in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Wrap in muslin or a breathable fabric to prevent discolouration or damage. Avoid using plastic covers, as silk needs to breathe.
